My impetus for change is understanding how very true that statement is.

Remember those times when someone wronged you? Those memories will probably stick with you forever. They also stand out in your mind much more strongly than any other time when you were treated favorably.

When people leave others, whether it be due to moving, a job change, distance in a relationship, or even their own death, how they made people feel is what they leave behind. In the end, all we truly have are the relationships with one another. So when I discovered the quote, “People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel,” it straight away became my favorite. I’m going to keep that quote up there at the top of the blog as a consistent reminder to myself. Although it doesn’t directly have anything to do with acrobatics or balancing one’s life, it will guide me on my journey to becoming a better person.
