Over the weekend, two people we know in RL created characters on our server. It’s pretty exciting to have some people to play with! They made a leatherworking rogue and tailoring mage. The Hubby will probably level a shaman (non-healing, no profession) with them and I have several low level characters I could pull off the shelf, but I can’t decide which one!
In order of preference, my character could be:
- DRUID - Doh! Yep, I would play another one. She’d be balance and provide some healing. My baby druid is level 12 and has 130 jewelcrafting. Plus, she has a unique snowflake name! The only downside is I already have a druid and would be cheating myself out of trying a class I haven’t played.
- PALLY - I’d play her as a tank/healer and I think a pally would be more of an asset to the group than a balance druid. It’s a fun class and I wouldn’t mind the opportunity to explore it further, particularly the tanking aspect as it can help me when it comes to tanking on Mama Druid. She also has a unique snowflake name. =)
- LOCK - It would seem I’m cursed to never have one. My first Horde character was a lock, and I’ve created 4 more after that… the highest level ever reached was 26. The problem with a lock would be we’d always be LFGing for a tank or healer. She’s also the only gnome I have.
- MAGE - I love my baby mage. But she also has tailoring, and we’d have the same problem as the lock - an all dps group. This one is the only human character I’m playing. One of the aforementioned locks is a human, but she’s on a long ago deserted PvP server.
So it really boils down to the druid or pally. The druid for more selfish reasons in that I’ve been wanting to level a balance druid. The pally for learning and experiencing opportunities. I’m leaning toward the pally, but then I get sad thinking about how my baby druid will be collecting dust for awhile.
I’m such a sucker for the hybrid classes!

I am so very very very much thinking you should do another druid. Based on what you have said.
Now for me? I’d do a paladin.
Well, they won’t be playing as much as we do - so I could do both!
