I wasn’t sure I’d see it in my lifetime, in fact I was pretty sure I’d never see the event of the holodeck. I may have underestimated the leaps and bounds technology would take in my lifetime. Emotiv Systems will be releasing a brain reading headset this year. The possibilities this presents are tremendously huge, exciting, and terrifying. It will be interesting to see how these advances affect our society.
