The Mama

I’m a Real Life^TM mama of two teens, a high school boy and middle school girl. The Hubby is a wonderful stay-at-home dad (SAHD) - numbering among a growing population of SAHDs. It’s really an interesting phenomenon that seems to be spreading as more companies lay people off or programs shut down due to lack of funding.

I work full time and will be celebrating my 10th anniversary with my employer this year.

The Druid

The name of the blog is derived from my druid, Selenyx. Currently, she’s my only 70, positioning herself as the matriarch of all my other characters. With all her name changes, the Hubby and I have come to fondly refer to her as Mama Druid.

Despite the name, this certainly is not an exclusively druid blog because…

I’m a casually playing hardcore altoholic. I have a server full of Alliance characters and a server full of Horde characters. The ones who make it past 40 seem to be guaranteed a permanent spot on my roster. But for any below that magical threshold, there seems to be a revolving door. Oh, and then there are the two other (not full!) servers hosting my baby hunters.

So, in addition to blogging about Selenyx, I’ll share the adventures of my many other characters.
