Bit by the Spring Break Bug

I’ve been busy this week - celebrating birthdays, going to the movie theater matinee, and shopping. It’s been quite nice!
WoW-wise, no big accomplishments… just checked out a few of the new dailies on the Isle with Mama Druid and came away a few gold richer and with some greens and motes of mana. Nice. Oh, [...]

I’ve been playing around with the NextGen Gallery plugin for WordPress. It was quite easy to install and get up and running. It seems to integrate really well with the control panel. I can access single photos, for internal links, in Uploads - it creates a Gallery tab for this. I can add a gallery [...]

I can’t decide!

Over the weekend, two people we know in RL created characters on our server. It’s pretty exciting to have some people to play with! They made a leatherworking rogue and tailoring mage. The Hubby will probably level a shaman (non-healing, no profession) with them and I have several low level characters I could pull off [...]

Gemmed the Clefthoof Set

After a brief stint as a Tree of Life last week, in which I healed a short-lived group in Shadow Labs and another group in Durnholde (my first time to either place), I respecced back to feral and shelled out the 160 gold for 8 enduring talasites. I figure I can get the rest of [...]

Introducing… The Ragga

I finally got around to posting another character sheet. Go meet my purple hunter, Raggamuffin!

Curmudgeons of WoW

I was explaining to The Kids my funny experience with the priest following my baby lock around Teldrassil. To my surprise, they both thought I could have been nicer, maybe even offered him money. (?!?!?!?) “But he was following me, without saying anything,” I reasoned. “It was weird!”
The Son shared with me his singular experience [...]

Mama Druid’s names

In response to the shared topic over at Blog Azeroth, and also because it deserves a post of its own versus cramming it somewhere in Mama Druid’s character page, I present to you the names belonging to my main character.
Liuna
This was her first name. I had been using the prefix “Liu” for my characters in [...]

Refined focus

I recently came across an interesting post about journaling in a blog, The Benefits of Keeping a Private Journal.
Initially, I wanted to use this blog as a means to facilitate change in my life. I wanted to use it to document things that happen and for the ability to track and measure change over time… [...]

Descriptions!

I’m back at work and on the mend and having recently discovered what descriptions for categories and links actually do, I plan to be sure I add descriptions for everything. It’s pretty awesome how they pop up when you hover over a link.
I likes it.

Ah bin sik

This nasty cold/flu/whateveritis knocked me on my arse and I’ve been out of commission for six days now.
It sucks.
I hope to come back to life soon…
In the meantime, if you haven’t already, visit Leafshine’s blog. I’m surprised she wasn’t in my blogroll because I love visiting her site. It’s pretty, leafy of course, and fun [...]
